Leica DISTO™ X6 Laser Distance Meter with DST 360-X P2P, TRI 120 in Metabox

The combination of the DISTO X6 and the Leica DST 360-X Adapter enables P2P Technology, which means distances between any two points or complex areas can be measured from a safe location, even in inaccessible areas. Afterwards, the results can be downloaded as perfectly organised DXF files and further processed in any CAD software. Visualisation of the data in the DISTO Plan app is also possible directly on site, allowing you to see immediately if any measurement points are still missing. This supports the digitalisation process, shortens workflows, saves money and avoids errors.

Point to Point Measurement

When it is mounted to a tripod using the DST 360-X adapter, the Leica DISTO X6 is transformed into a Point-to-Point (P2P) measurement station.

The X6 connects to sensitive sensors that are housed in the DST 360-X tripod adapter to access precise angle and tilt data that it combines with its own laser distance and angle sensors to solve the trigonometry for P2P measurements.

Now, even complex measurements of hard to reach places can be captured from a distance.

Data Capture in CAD Format

Capturing point measurement information in a DXF format allows for as-built object dimensions to be further processed in CAD solutions. The files are available for download via a USB connection. 2D DXF files are ideal to accurately visualise floor plans or wall layouts and 3D DXF files provide you with the measured point data in 3D for further processing.

Integrating with Software

CABINET VISION includes a Leica DISTO utility that is an easy-to-use dialog box that walks you through each point measurement to take in the room. Simply point the laser at the desired location, then click on the button in CABINET VISION to take that measurement..
